Hi other allergy mums
I just wanted to let you know about a list of a whole bunch of 'accidentally vegan' foods I stumbled accross online - it took me a while but I lately realised that DS could eat some vegan foods as they don't contain dairy or eggs. Of course, I've lost the link of the blog where I found it, but if you google ninja vegan or accidentally vegan you'll find lots of blogs to read about foods you can find in the supermarket which you would never think are egg and dairy free (like there's a mayonnaise, puff pastry, choc ripple biscuits or lemon crisps!). There's a FB group too. We're having a great time buying things we thought DS would never be able to eat! Thought this might help some of you guys too.
PS also if you're after egg or milk free recipes, google vegan recipes too, there's heaps out there - just watch out for nut or sesame content. (sorry to wheat allergy mums - this is no help for you...)
