Teething gels?

Hey All,

Just a quick question, what are some of the teething gels you have used and where did you get them? (oh and did they actually work!)

I know of bonjela - sold just about everywhere...
anything else you use?

I know i can use 'chew toys', cold cloths, food and just about anything else ... but as bubs has a small mouth the teething rings are just too big at the moment. I'm thinking some bread crusts..

I don't know what state you in or if all of them sell it but the W&C hospital in SA sell by far the best teething gel. I haven't had to use it much because DD teeth don't bother her too badly but when they do I put it on and it relives her brilliantly :)

Bonjela, sm33 and they usually have a chemist brand around, I use bonjela if needed but mostly I use hylands teething tablets that are available from the chemist too along with teething necklaces and they have gotten us through all but the worst teething moments.

Chewing wise, I offer frozen teething rings or you can dip the corner of a face washer in water and freeze, the net feeders with frozen EBM or ice blocks.

It looks like you bub is quiet young though? I found boobing a great natural pain relief option, not sure if your boobing but :)

I have stocked a basket of:
Bonjela
Sedagel
Baby paracetamol
Hylands teething tablets
Brauers teething relief
Gel teethers in the fridge
And DD wears an amber teething necklace
Have only had to use the brauers. It's amazingly awesome!

Teethng gels did nothing for my son. We used teething tablets and they were magic. You can get it at priceline.

Agree about the Adelaide W&CH - I've even used it myself when I had a painful cut in my mouth!

Unfortunately you have to go to their dispensary to buy it, and they only sell one bottle per person, per day. So whenever we are in Adelaide, DF goes and buys one and then I do!

Do you know anyone in Adelaide who could get it for you?

Im using the curash gel, and baby panadol before bed, plus b00bing pretty much every hour. one tooth in, and another started, poor darling!!!
