This is a basic bread ingredient list:
Melted butter, for greasing and brushing
500g (3 1/3 cups) plain flour
2 tsp (7g/1 sachet) dried yeast
1 tsp salt
375mls (1 1/2 cups) lukewarm water
Extra water, for brushing
1 tsp poppy seeds, for sprinkling
Similar to what we use at work, same for pizza dough, as we do pizza too.
We dont use butter, just spray oil..
Here is a list of common 'egg' foods to look out for
The following foods often contain egg:
Asian dishes
Battered food
Binding for rissoles, patties, meatloaf
Biscuits
Cakes
Cake mixes
Confectionary eg. marshmallows

Crumbed foods
Custards

Dips
Egg noodles and pasta
Fried rice
Health drinks
Ice cream, frozen desserts and sherbets
Icings
Malted chocolate drinks, eg. Ovaltine
Mayonnaise
Melts
Milk puddings
Mock or butter cream
Mousse
Muffins and muffin mixes

Some breads, breaded foods
Shiny glaze on baked goods

Vegetarian meat substitutes
Only SOME breads have it (more like pastry type breads or sweet breads....so find a bakery and stick with them, double check too.
Many children with egg allergy can tolerate small amounts of baked egg in cakes and muffins. You should discuss whether your child might be able to do this with your doctor.
Later on you could possibly do some egg challenges to see if bub has grown out of the allergy.
We suffer milk protein and lactose intolerance but as kids got older we challenged them and they can have small amounts of various stuff.
I have eczema and am allergic to chocolate and oranges....now i am 33 i eat chocolate and oranges occasionally but i know it causes me flares which are manageable

Thankyou so much for all that info!
My sis was allergic to chicken, eggs, nuts, cows milk.. Mum said she kept feeding it to her in small amounts when she turned 1.5yo and now well shes not allergic to anything cept cats
I hope she will grow out of it. but gee it makes thinking of food much harder :(
I guess i just have to read the ingredients of everything when she gets abit older.
So maybe bakery bread toasted and avocado on it will be okay for her :)

Yep. Toast and avocado is awesome. Avocado is excellent for bubba's. Just check with your bakery though to make sure they don't glaze there bread with egg or anything.
Yep allergies suck. So does eczema. Had it all my life :( have it real bad now coz i washed the dishes at work without gloves :crying: was in a hurry.
BUT you and bub will manage, and overcome stuff and you will know what sets bub off over time.
If i was you (and you have time) start a food diary and also note down any 'products' you use (washing powders/soap etc) because you will notice patterns.
My little DD was allergic to her nanna! but it was nanna's washing powder (when bub cuddled her on her chest her face would rub against nanny!) weird to tell MIL from hell that DD was allergic to her!
Feel free to PM me anytime too as myself and my kids have eczema so if there's anything i could help you with i am happy to.
My 2 older girls have grown out of it DS and DD3 still have it a little but mostly from soap and washing powder, and me, well i have it from everything!

 goggle Baby Led Weaning and see that your choking fears are unfounded. Babies gag not choke
Yeah eczema sux :( i use to wriggle and itch till i bled my mum said and i still now often wake up bruised and bleeding from scratching :( Mum use to glad wrap me! From neck to toe! Smear me in cream and wrap me in glad wrap. Weird but she reckoned it worked  people wet bandage but it makes me itch to.
You will eventually find a regime that suits.
Your pead might refer you to a dermatologist which will be good for you to gather info.
There is some great results in bleach bathing which sounds odd but was successful for me and DS.
i really hope your bub grows out of it, oh and if not you kind of learn to live with the itch :) I live with it every day and very rarely take antihistamines these days, only when i am really bad.
And dont stress about steroid creams, i have used them since birth basically and my skin is good. Plus they do work fast and efficiently if you get the right one. I have to change creams often but stick to the same few just take turns with each different one.
i also can now wear most make up, which was a real problem for me as a teen.
Good luck.
My DS has similar allergies (plus a heap more besides). As pp said, most bread is fine, you'll get to be in the habit of reading food labels pretty quick. Off the top of my head, tip top, helgas, abbots village are all egg and dairy free (check the labels through) - there is australian food standard that requires food producers to declare the main allergens in bold on their food labels so look out for that too (although it is worth checking to make sure).
THere's also Soy Life soy yoghurt (and king land - check labels as some soy foods do still have milk protein, or cesein, in them). You'll be amazed at how many options there really are - crumpets, english muffins, raisin toast, corn cruskits, premiums, Nice biscuits, mcvitie's digestives, so good soy ice cream, scooby-doo snacks, soy cooking cream, hot cross buns (supermarket ones, not brand ones), pita bread, turkish bread ( i think), corn/rice cakes, even oreos are egg and dairy free!!! Just start reading food ingredient labels as you go through the supermarket, lots of things you would never dream of (Like oreos!!) could turn out to be safe. All the best.

A\lso how do i find out if bub is allergic to chicken? they didnt test that. Oh and chlorine???

Casein is in cows milk
Casein is naturally occurring in all milk be it goat, cow, buffalo or human. Almost 80 percent of milk protein is casein. The other 20 percent is whey. Both casein and whey are complete proteins and have all the amino acids. Cheese is almost 100 percent casein
My DD cant handle milk proteins, so even soy milk is out for her.
There is a few types of milk allergies.
True milk allergy
Lactose intolerance
Milk Protein intolerance.
So you might need to explore that one further.
To find out about chicken wait till bub is having a good run (no skin problems) and do a food challenge and offer her the food that she is fine with and some chicken, if she reacts dont give her chicken for sometime and try a challenge again later down the track.
As for chlorine i guess you will have to take her for a swim in the pool. As a child i would be itchy and red after the pool but following that i was good, no rashes skin actually improved (hence someone studying the effects of a bleach bath!!!) as its pretty much the same and bleach baths are so diluted its not worse than a swim in the local pool.

Yeah it does dry out the skin but as long as you keep bubs skin moisturised it should be ok. Shower and moisturise  I spend my life lathering myself up
But even showers and baths dry out the skin so i wouldnt worry to much about chlorine, its in the water anyhow. (unless you have one of those super cool attachments that take all the nasty's out, which i did have but didnt notice a change really and the filters were to expensive!)
