Hi, we are TTC #2 i just bought "maybe baby" from the chemist.

Who else has used this? Is it effective in finding out which day you O?
Any insight would be great.

Used one for all 3 and was excellent! I used it so we wouldn't fall pregnant too!

It worked for me.

Just a tip, test in the morning (when you wake up) and afternoon (do not have anything to eat or drink for 3hrs prior). What I found was I would have different readings at different times of the day. When I did get ferns meaning that I was fertile, it was in the afternoon and I was ovulating or about to.

It worked really well for me too, I found it best to do it at night before I went to bed and then checked it in the morning. It seems to take a while to dry and the ferning was a lot clearer to see after a couple of hours.
Try to make sure you dont have any bubbles in your sample too.

I normally started getting wavey ferning 5 days before O and then the day before and of O the ferning lines were very straight and covered the whole sample.

Another thing was that the month that I was pregnant I had full ferning at the end of my cycle (not normally though) apparently this is quite common when you pregnant. It's not a definate way of knowing you've conceived but it can be nice to have a little indication of conception when it's still to early to test with a htp.

I think this is a great device, but took several cycles to work out how to use and read.

I've determined you need a fair bit of saliva, be generous, and allow it to dry. if you dont dont do either of these you wont get good results. I found that results were difficult to interprety.

I do it first thing in the morning and read when I get home...the trick is the right amout of saliva.
