Well, I have got all three kids in swimming lessons for $180 a term, not each. That's all three. The girls have had a couple of free lessons so far but Nathan starts next term.

Anyway, the place I take them is a franchise and I rung up another one closer to me to see about days and times and they told me it'd cost me $178 for JUST Nathan. The kids go to the one a bit further away cos I was happy with the hours they got and the girls are in the same group, but up until recently they didn't have any room for Nathan (he has to be in the baby's group obviously and I have to go in the pool with him).

Is it weird that even though it's the same company/franchise whatever that one of them was gonna charge alot more? I just assumed they'd both be the same price which is $60 each a term, so I was gonna put Nathan in the one closer because they had better hours.

Wow $180 per term for all three is awesome!! For those rates I would definitley travel a bit further. I pay $260 a term for two kids!

Even though it is a franchise, maybe the individual owners can set their own rates?

Anyway, think you have a great deal, hope the kids are enjoying it! :)

I agree with PP. And I also agree $180 a term for 3 is amazing!! I pay $18 each (for 2) per week per term so getting on for $400 per term!!

How long are the lessons? Cause $180 for 3 kids for a term is unbeleivable (but yes I do beleive you ).

I shopped around and the cheapest I could find worked out to $12 per 30 minute lesson. So times $12 by the number of weeks in the term per child.

If there were 12 weeks in the term your lessons work out to $5 per lesson. Seems really cheap.

It does seem strange that they would charge a different amount. Stick with the first one you have got though as what you have got is really cheap.
Our lessons are $169 for 9 lessons so not even a full term. That is for 1 child.

They are half hour lessons which is good because I think any longer and they might get sick of it or something and want to get out of the pool. I have friends that pay more for their kids but they pay installments each week or fortnight so it doesn't seem like that much, they pay like $12 a week or whatever it is BUT they get to use the pool and other facilities (gym etc) for free all year round for the whole family. The place I take my kids is just for lessons and not open on school holidays.
