I'm following SausageFest's lead and trying to be proactive at getting out and meeting some new people.

Would love to meet some BH ladies on a semi-regular basis.

So is anyone up for it? Let me know.

I'm interested... Even tho I'm childless and live on the very outskirts of Brisbane I'd really like to meet some people! I miss having friends!

I'll be working a 9 day fortnight soon so would be available every second Friday and of course weekends! :)

COOL! If everyone who is keen can respond with what days their free and where they're happy to travel we can sort something out. How exciting!!

I'm happy to travel anywhere! Would be nice if occasionally we could meet somewhere that allowed us to bring fur babies too? Mine is really good with skin babies! :)

Poppy loves big doggies! She has a best friend who is a greyhound! :)

Looks like weekends could be what works best so far!

Let's hope more people are interested! I know there's lots of Brissy hubbbers! We have to beat the perthies! Lol!

yep :)
atm i'm taken on tues and thurs but i finish tafe in november and am proper job hunting.. so it could all change quite quickly. weekends are likely to stay the best time for me, cos of what i'm looking for.
i hope it doesn't matter that i'm currently childless? i've been told by a few people i have a way with children and i love meeting babies and kids :D (and their parents of course ;))

lol i'm not taking buddy anywhere, it's a mission just to get him in the car! tess is much more portable and loooooves people but is rather, ah, enthusiastic. best around older children for that reason and that reason only lol she would knock young ones over just by saying hello :o:D

Don't worry! I'm childless too! So you won't be the only clucky one wanting to coo over all the babies and toddlers!:o

Looks like weekends are working out to be the best time for most so far. :)

wellll seeing as we're all kind of spread out.. what about south bank? i'm not sure if it's dog friendly is all :/ .. or the roma street parklands? either way it's just a train/bus into the city for the majority of people? my thought is that it might be easier to get more people if it's kind of central. feel free to shoot me down.

Southbank sounds good, Can i also throw in a suggestion of Orleigh park at west end, still quite central, city cat and bus, free parking, great play area for kiddies, puppy friendly and a coffee shop for those of us who need it.

CazHazKidz

I'm keen for south bank. I don't think I'll bring my dogs. They're very good obedient dogs, but they're big and a bit of a handful with DS on my own

Hey ladies, I've created a group for us regular brisbane bubhubbers to join, where we can organise our catch ups and stuff!

Please PM me your email address that you use for facebook and I'll send you an invite. The group is private and invite only, so it will not show up on your profile or news feed, and your identity will be protected!

Look forward to seeing you all there soon!

I'm in for South Bank, or the other location so we can bring fur babies.

I've seen lots of doggies at South Bank but they are always on leash and you obviously can't take them to any of the cafes. I don't think I'd bring Poppy to South Bank either.

I've got you on FB. Can you add me to the group please! :)

Hi guys, I would also love to join you guys in meeting up.

I have a a 2 year old ds and 8 week old dd. I live 8kms south west of brisbane and happy to travel. West end is ideal for me cause with the 2 cherubs its hard to catch the train with the pram etc and the mountain of stairs lol. However either way westend or southbank is good.

My days = Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday morning.

I will pm you CHR so I can join the fb page :p

Olivia is doing really well. Cracked the kilo mark on the 24th of September (1month old) & has been moved out of the admitting room as she is now classed as stable. Not ready for SCN yet but 1 step up.
