oh Nuddle...you are so brave! My tummy isn't nearly that pretty so you'll have to wait until my belly becomes obvious under my clothes :D

I too have a bit of a tummy, but I am putting it down to fluid because it can't be baby yet (only 7 weeks) .... and I am retaining some fluid in my fingers and feet at certain points of the day.

Love you bump though ... I will add mine soon I"m sure :)

Hopefully only one baby, lol. I always get this big real fast, it's a PITA really. But cool at the same time, lol.

I usually have to take about 10 shots before I get a good one, usually I cut half of myself out, which is why I'm going to have the kids do it from now on, lol. I kind of cheated tonight though, I looked at the reflection of the camera screen in the kitchen window to make sure my aim was right, lmao.

Yeah, I was 9wks on Wednesday. Due on April 4. I showed really early with my boys, even my first pregnancy. So I'm assuming that this is another boy (I hope I am wrong).

LOL, we would rather move than extend. ATM, I have Matthew sleeping in Brookes room and she is on a trundle bed in Jacobs room. If I put Matthew in Jacobs room (he goes to bed at 6:30, Jacob goes at 8pm), he wakes up when Jacob goes to bed, even if he tiptoes. Then he thinks it is play time so no one gets any sleep. I perservere for about an hour, but in the end, I end up putting him back in Brookes room.

I will have to get them all swapped around before April though. Brooke sleeps through anything (slept through a fire alarm at a motel once), so I would rather put the baby in with her.

hehe Gee that's a good idea actually! If Brooke is a sound sleeper then that's good. You know what babies are like! I hope she can sleep with bubby's cries! I have a spare room here for this bubby, but if I were to put him or her in with my son, I would have both of them wide awake!... Bubs will be sleeping in the cot with us in our room for the first 6 months anyway! Then go into his/ her own room.

thats what i heared cos my belly at my first ultrasound was non existant.. i got a bit worried.. but they said i was lucky and cos it was 1st baby the stomach Muscles r better.. and 2nd preg women get bigger and show more? who knows..

as for taking your own belly pics.. i did it all the time!! an easy way to do it, if your using digi cam or phone camera.. stand in front of the mirror.. and point the camera at urself.. and look in mirror and u can see exactly what is in view on being taken in pic!!:thumbsup:

Thanks. :) Yeah, they do say that, but with my boys, I was showing by 6wks and in maternity clothes by 12wks. Been in maternity jeans for the last 2wks with this one though.:rolleyes: With my daughter though, I wasn't showing with her until about 3mths. Just had my mum tell me that I'm almost the same size as my sister. She is due with her second one in December, lol.

I'm having the same problem. I've always had a "spare tyre" so how do I tell if its me or the baby? It seems to be hanging a bit lower and bigger but its hard to tell **insert embarrased smiley here**

As an idea of how big I get, here is me at 40wks with my first baby who was 11lb. Bear in mind I only weighed 45kg when I fell pregnant with him, so I was as skinny as a rake. Had to take a photo of a photo, hence the poor quality.

We only saw 1 when I had my scans.

I am not pushing my belly out either.

They say with your 2nd, 3rd etc baby, your tummy muscles are relaxed from your first pregnancy, so you should show alot earlier.

I am dreading how big I am going to get. Last baby I gained 30kg and my stomach was HUGE. Actually huge is an understatement.

I am only 5'1 so I looked funny.

I am a bit embarrassed about showing so early, I am obviously pregnant, and feel it is too early, I havent told many here, and they are all starting to talk at the school, I dont know why Im embarrassed, just know that they are saying "ooh, shes having ANOTHER one.
A lady from school asked my Sister the other day if it was planned, and if we were happy. :shame:

You don't have anything at all to be embarassed about! It is your body and and it your family and as long as you are happy that is all that matters! I don't recall ever seeing any books or posters that were around in society that told us when we could have children and how many! It is up to the individual, and as long as children are looked after and well cared for, then it doesn't matter how many siblings they have!.. I would just try and ignore what other people are saying, and quite frankly it is none of their business whether you had planned your child!.. And as for the other stupid comment "are you happy" well I was say DERRRR! "Of course I am!" "You got a problem with that?". I can honestly understand how annoying it would be for you! My mother gave birth to 5 children as well! These other people who have their own mundane boring pathetic lives have nothing better to do other than to watch your private life, and think they can critique you for it! No one gave them the right to!

You hold your head high girl-friend! Be proud that you are a mumma to 5 beautiful kids, and have been blessed with a big family! Maybe the rest are just secretly jealous of you, and are wanting more children for themselves! I say bugger them, let them get over their problems! You go on and be happy! :thumbsup:

Mind the VERY PAINFUL cat scratch I didnt realise it came up in the pic until I uploaded it.

My kitty didnt mean it. I picked him up outside to bring him home ( a week ago on the day we were moving house) and 3 magpies swooped us and he was so scared I was trying to hold onto him and he scratched to get down.

It hurt but I didnt realise it was so deep and long until I got home, lift up my top and saw the blood.

Everytime I walk, like every step it hurts.

It just wont seem to heal, and with my poor scarring skin, its going to scar bloody bad :thumbsdown:

wow, you sure have popped. Try some Bepanthen cream on the scratch, it will keep it nice a soft during healing, helps it to heal quicker, and minimises scarring.

i burnt my belly on a oven dish when i was 25wks lol bit silly of me, but left a bad scar about as big as urs . ... i used bepanthan... and the scar dissapeared , tho it took a while about 1 yr.

I was going to make a post about this yesterday but deleted it. I am proud of my belly, except when I'm school (public school). Everyone there is just so......up themselves!! The classic 2 incomes, 2 kids, huge house people...KWIM?? They don't make us feel welcome because we are the single income, 3 kids and **** house family. So I feel ashamed to be expecting again when I am around them. I don't get out of the car unless I have to, and if I do, I wear something really baggy.

And no I never lost my balance being so short and so big but I did gain 30kg. I finally lost all but a few kilo's after a year and now I am pregnant again but I vow to never gain that much weight in this preg.

The only thing with intimo is I dont really like underwire bras (never have) and they are mainly underwires, I must have had about 10 pairs of theirs I had never worn, I gave them all to my SIL, who is smaller than me, but has big t*ts, so she was rapt.. But the materials they get to make them with are absolutely gorgeous (even tho $45 a bra is a heap)..

I think I am big for 17 weeks. It just looks bigger and bigger everyday. And my back just keeps getting worse and worse everyday.

But yes its cute. Everyones belly's are cute!

Yes Nuddle I was big with Isabella, but certainly not that big.

This time around the tummy muscles are obviously very relaxed and poking out. I still havent gained any weight so its all baby.

I really hope its not a huge baby. Everyone told me I would have a huge baby because my stomach was so massive with ISabella, but she popped out only 6 pound.

If she was only 6lb, I can't see you having a big one. Generally they are all within a pound or so of each other.

I had a terrible traumatic birth and found it extremly hard to push out such a small baby. 16hrs of labor, 2hrs of pushing and ended up needing forceps and 10cm episiotomy.

So I really hope this one is only small too. I just dont know what would happen to me if it was really big.

I know what its like as well. I had a pretty hellish birth with my son, 15 hours of labour, an episiotomy, and a forceps delivery! And he was only 7lbs exactly! I am hoping this one is smaller, that would be nice!.. And I hope the labour is quicker!.. I dunno how I would go delivering an 8lb baby tho! Owwwww! I also had the 3 day crash after that where I just fell into a heap and cried after the whole experience, I think my body just went into shock, and I think it was also then and there I swore he was the only child I was having!.. Oh golly, I hope I don't have another one like that!

In my experience, smaller was harder. In saying that though, I don't want this one to be bigger than my others, LOL. I'm hoping for a 6.5-7lber.

Its terrible isnt it. The pain is horrendus afterwards down there.

And Jen I am dreading labour. Dreading it. I am terrified. I think I will go on the day and be just beside myself. I never ever want to go through what I went through again.

I was going to go for a c/s, but have opted against it. My OB has talked me out of it, saying I need to give natural birth a go again.

Sends shivers down my spine seriously.

Mate... you and me both! I am dreading it as well!.. But I guess the reward at the end is all that matters! All that hard work does definitely pay off!.. And looking at bub will certainly make ya forget the pain... or atleast some of it!.. I just look at it as booking myself in for the "Huff & Puff" as I call it! hahaha.. I'm not looking forward to the whole after birth bleeding thing either! Sorry if that's all (TMI) people!..

I am sure we will both be definitely fine!.. Women all around the world are always having babies, and if they can, I am sure we can!.. :)

I just want to say that I too had an awful birth experience with my first, forceps, huge epis... and she was only small too, the second time around was all different, an awsome experience. I can understand you are scared, I was terrified too, but just hold onto the thought that it doesnt have to turn out the same way. I fully believe that my awareness the second time around, and I really knew what I wanted, really helped me...

My doc doesnt want to weigh me until i am 24 weeks.
I weigh myself once a week. i am always worried about my weight for some reason. I'm scared i'm going to put way too much on and not be able to take it off again. I did that with my first.
