With my first I was showing at 6wks and by 20wks was the same size I am now. I think it depends more on the babys position and how strong your muscles are. I'm guessing I'm a weakling, LOL.

Mamesmama, I think you belly look fabulous!.. Its funny, at first I looked really big, and now somedays I could hide my belly and I dont think anyone would know I was 5 & a half months pregnant! I think it depends on the day! :)

There are also some days that I think when I am out, that people who see me actually think I'm just fat and not pregnant! :eek:

Hell yeah! I only fit into maternity bottoms now. I have a few maternity tops that I wear but they're mainly dressy ones, I can still get away with longer-style normal clothes in a size up as far as tops go. But only maternity bottoms for me! :p

Yeah Sandra thats a cute little belly. Hehehehe you and I are such different shapes - its so amazing to see how we each carry our babies differently.


Oh heres a question for the non first timers...do you carry your babies in a similar position each time, or is it like other pregnancy things and each one is/or can be totally different???

And I want your belly Taylor!!! Its so pert and perky - ohhh that sounds like a boob desrciption!:eek: ....and touch wood same with the stretch marks for me too. Im know Im gunna regret typing that sentence. *cringe*

I didn't really carry differently for each pregnancy, but I did notice that when pregnant with Brooke, I got a bigger butt and thighs, but with my boys, all my weight gain was in my belly.

This one is really low, and I already have a coffee cup shelf, the others took me ages to have that 'straight top' to be able to rest coffee on..lol

BEC: I also have that 'flap' on the bottom, its terrible, but I had a flabby tum to start with also, Im determined to lose it this time straight away, thats why I wont give a full tummy shot without knickers IYKWIM? it ruins the whole pregnancy look (wonder if it goes as you get bigger later on?)

Tamara i have bad stretchies from ds and mine faded heapes but i lost alot of weight after ds too as i gained 30kg but mine looked good when i fell this time hehe so it took a bit or a year to look ok and i used to cover my belly in bio oil... but in saying that i think it could be a gene thing..... as they will never go away unless u pay someone good money to do it hehe and i havent got anynew ones this time YET but they have gone a little red but nothing to bad....

No this isn't an attempt to brag about that fact... I put it there just to show you there aren't any stretchmarks and to comment that every DAMN time I go and see a different Midwife, they are ALWAYS commenting - with out FAIL, that I have no stretchmarks!.. AArrggghh.. drives me absolutely stupid! It's just as bad as the "Gee, your NOT very big" comment I am totally SICK of!...
