Hi :) There are a few of us Newcastle mums around, not sure how many are to-be'ers though. I'm expecting my 3rd in March (feels like my first though with the big age gap, DH and I took ages to decide to keep going lol)

Hi, I have just found out that I am a Mum-to-be here in Newcastle as well. Only just 5 weeks along and hoping that everything will stick as I m/c about 4 months ago around this time of the pregnancy. Feels like all is going good so far, different to the last one.

I am now contemplating the dilemma of private vs public. I have top health cover but some of the fees for ultrasounds etc are so expensive! The doctor has asked me to go for one in the next 2 weeks (guess it is a dating scan) and it is going to cost me $180. What other costs should we be aware of?

Look forward to chatting with you soon :)

Hi :)

Can you request a referral to hunter radiology (they are in the city near the Ibis) for ultrasounds? They bulk bill all of theirs.

I know what you mean about things feeling 'better'. I had a m/c last October and this time around things definitely felt positive and like they were just working. It's hard to describe though.
