I was wondering if any other parent has been through 6 months of constant teething. DS started at 6 months old with his two bottom teeth coming through first then his top two teeth. Then more top teeth and now they are popping out any where. It seems that he has new teeth coming through almost every couple of weeks or so. He is almost 13 months old now and has 11 teeth already! DH and I have had some sleepless nights as DS is not sleeping well now that he has molars coming through. :( It hasn't been fun at all. Does anyone have any advice as to how to cope or help DS with the pain other than Panadol or Nurofen.

Yep yep yep. DD got first tooth at 7 months and is still going at 15. She got one tooth then got 7 in three weeks. Then she got her molars and that was a living hell. Nothing can describe the sleepless nights, I was such a zombie I lost my wedding rings :(
right now we're getting eye teeth so it's bad again, constant waking, restlessness, crying and screaming, going off food, the constipation then the runs..ahh the joys. So I basically had her in an ambe teething necklace 24/7 from 4 months, I take her to a homeopath, I gave her panadol and nurofen, I went to an osteopath and that basically exhausted it for me..there was nothi g left for me to do but sleep when she did..
I can only comment and say the best relief came from the osteopath, each time I visited, the teeth just popped out, so at least it wasn't dragging on...but sometimes...only the panadol would cut it!! I feel for you!! :(

My son got heaps of teeth between 6 and 12 months. Teething tablets were our saviour. I used panadol for temps as he got spiking temps with about half of his teeth and teething tablets to settle him.

Our problem is 5 months of constant teething and no teeth to show for it! DS has his first couple, but despite whingeing, grizzling, red cheeks, dodgy nappies and lumpy gums, 5 months on, nothing else has come through!

It's tough. I use panadol and nurofen when it's REALLY bad and brauers teeting relief, pain relief and calm when it's less bad.
