Just wondering what grade previa you had and what gestation your baby was delivered?

Did you have more than one bleed, were you hospitalized?

hi i was grade 4 was hospitalized from week 29 had a big bleed n needed blood transfusion and was on strick bed rest in hos till bub was delivered at 33+5 weeks due to another big bleed bub is now almost 10 months old and doing well :)

MM - I have PP this pregnancy. Totally covering. Have previously had 3 c-sections. Didn't find out until 20 week scan as no bleeding. The placenta has gone through the uterine lining and attached to muscle, that's why no bleeding. Placenta acretta.

Will be another c-section regardless. I am on restricted duties. Acretta means no bleeding expected, so will be delivered at 37 weeks.

I suppose you'll be delivered when OB happy with bubs growth and based on your placenta health. Take it easy and put your feet up, minimise bleeding. Every day extra helps!

Thanks for that ifo, I am sorry to hear that you have placenta accreta.

I have a grade 4 previa, I am currently 30+3 weeks pg and have had a previous c-section, I had spotting at 19 weeks, scan showed placenta previa, I have had a significant bleed (not needing transfusion, but a gush of blood, TMI) 3 times since.

Each time I have been admitted to hospital for about a week for bed rest. I have had steriods to help with the babys lung development and at this point everyday is a bonus.

Bub will be delivered between 36 and 38 weeks if possible but at this stage it isnt looking like I will last that long.

Just interested in others experiences...;)
