Hi all

Im just after some advice. We are thinking about moving to Brisbane at some stage (well more I am looking into it and then will seek to convince DF:) ) and wondering about nice family suburbs?

Budget would be around $450000-500000, DF would be working in the City and we would like to be not too far from the beach (Not too far a drive, not walking distance or anything)...

Ive been looking on Realestate and its really hard with no idea of the better areas...

So please spam me with suburbs! :)

TIA

i am on the northside and have always loved taigum, brackenridge, some parts of zillmere and carseldine.

redcliffe isnt all that far and its quite lovely.

otherwise i live at sandgate and its now bringing in lots of families i have found as it was quite an older suburb with now the elderly either passing away or selling up and goign to live with family or facilities.

I live in bracken ridge and have done for most of my life! Love it here so much and so does DH who is originally from Syd.

Not sure about the beach in brisbane? There isn't really much of a beach around here unless you want to move to redcliff and thats a fair drive to the CBD.

Were in Ashgrove and really like it here, its only 10min to the CBD so easy to get to work, and you could drive to the beach on the weekends?
