Vitex... it was working great. now its not

i started taking vitex in march, and it put my cycles back in sync perfectly (26-28days) and i was ovulating. i had to stop it for a month due to my ds being in hospital and vitex wasnt really a great concern at the time, i started again this cycle and im currently on cd51, spotted a little yesterday and nothing now... i dont think i have ovulated this month, although havent been temping for the past few weeks.... does anyone know if there could be a reason the vitex isnt working now?

Hi sorry i cant help you but i was just reading and wanted to know what is vitex ? what does it do to your body like does it help in ttc? and where do you get it from? Thanks and good luck

i get it from the health food store.... liquid form is way better than tablets, but tastes discusting...it is a hormone balancer, for me - i wasnt ovulating, and getting very irregular periods, a week after starting vitex i got af.. cd11 i ovulated and cd 26 af again.... it did wonders for me... ! there is heaps of threads back on previous pages about vitex, just go have a lookie, plenty of info :) hope that helps

Oh wow sounds like me i dont know if or when i O my last period was 27th june, most the time im 30-35days maybe i should take it to see if it helps reg me? i wonder where in melbourne i could get some from??

i got mine from a chemist and you can get that at most health food stores...

Has anybody had any problems with Vitex? It gave me REALLY bad headaches and also made me vomit. Has anybody had this reaction? I know it is the Vitex cos I tried a few times and always get the same reaction!!:banghead:

iv been getting headaches lately too.. (i NEVER get headaches!) maybe the vitex is causing them.,.... i had no side affects at all when i 1st started taking it.... weird...

Oh ok, I thought maybe I was a bit weird but sounds like I might not be the only one getting headaches from it at least!
