Hi
Not sure if this is the right place to post, however I have noticed my DS has large gums and when he cries or smiles you can see a large amount of his top gum, I have also looked when he is alseep at the gap between the lower and upper gums and there is a gap there probably about 1/2 a pinky finger wide.
I mentioned this to the clinic nurse who said that he has pronounced gums and that these were not uncommon and will be fine when his teeth come through.
The peditrician did not pick up anything when he was born however I am really worried that he has a overbite.
Can anyone tell me if this will correct itself or if there is anything I can do now while he is this little.
I am seeing my ped in 2 weeks and I will get him to look at it then however was hoping to hear from anyone that has had a similar situation.
