I spoke to our CFHN at DDs 2 month check up, and she said green poos were common in formula fed babies (due to iron content in formula). But I didnt tell her EVERY poo DD passes is green. and now im wondering if she ment it was okay to pass the occasional green poo, or if formula fed babies poos are always green??? Sometimes theyre really watery but thats only every few days. I wouldnt say she has diarrhea because her poos arnt explosive and shes only passing them once, sometimes twice a day (not every nappy change). I found a wedsite earlier with pictures of what babies poo should look like (charming!) and it showed formula fed baby poo that looked more like watered down peanut butter, certinally not the slimy green stuff i get the joy of cleaning. Anyone elses FF baby always pass green poo?

my breastfed baby used to do green poos, like gooey spinich. I heard it was caused by a fore/ hindmilk imbalance, so I fed her on one breast rather then 15 on one, 15 on the other, and it fixed it. Or she grew out of it.

Not much help, but hey... you're not alone? :)

Should have taken photos of the stuff, to show the world "hey, this is what baby poos can also look like!"

My 6week old DS has had green poos.. He is being BF and FF.,
I panicked and called my mum who told me if it is green then they have had a tummy ache. It makes sense as I was on penicillin for mastitis at the time and the dr did warn me bubs could get a tummy ache.

Yep my formula fed baby has green poos as well, with the occasional yellow thrown in for good measure.

Couple of DS poos have been very green I've been told it could be because of wind
