Did you have help after your last baby??

Have family/friends offered to help for this baby?

For my first three, and also for this one, I only had the help of DH. None of my family can be bothered helping and I don't have any friends locally.

After my c/s, my Mum helped by coming over each day and helped with housework etc for about 2 weeks. We mainly went out shopping though, but she was a great help. DH helped out as much as he could too, which was great.

When we have our next bub, Mum will have DD for the week I am in hospital (will be another C/s due to cocsyx problem) and then will probably help out at home again for a couple of weeks - which will be great!

Three weeks after my DS was born my DP had to go to Malaysia for work for a week, luckily my mum was on holidays at the time so she came and kept me company for the week. It was the best!!! She would feed my DS his 10 pm feed and I would sleep from about 8pm til 1am so I got some rest.

God bless my mum.

My hubby is taking 2 weeks off after.

And when he is back at work mum will help me.

It will just be like last time.

Mum and dad are there 24/7 for us to call if we need them, and yep we do need them quite often and they are fantastic.

My mum will come to stay for a couple of weeks as she did with our first baby. She's wonderful to have around :)

This time DH will only be working part time so he will be at home alot as well. So hopefully we got it covered.

One thing I learned very quickly with the first baby - take whatever help you can get!!! :yelclap:

I chose no one, but then realised that DH was an option, so don't count mine. My DH was as helpful as he could be.

DH had two weeks paternity leave with DS 2 and it will be the same this time. I'm quite happy just having him around, I'm far more comfortable when it's just us and the kids!

DH doesn't have paternity leave, but I'd say he will take 1-2wks long service leave. Gawd knows I'll need help with 4 kidlets, lol.

I am pretty sure that I will cause this is my first and everyone will be really happy that it's here.

We are thinking about going over to New Zealand (DP's family are there) about a month after the baby's born so we can spend some time over there and get their help as well.
