Thought I would let you all know how I went yesterday for my operation, laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy, and tubes flushed etc.
Got to the hospital at about 11, my surgery wasn't till 1pm but DH was aloud to wait with me ( I was very glad about that).......When the nurse finally came and got me to get changed etc, and ask me questions about my health, I burst into tears.:gloomy: ...felt a bit of a idiot, but all the nurses were very nice.
I got into the theatre and remember them giving me my needle and thinking I am not sleepy yet, and then the next thing they were going, Helen Helen wake up.
I was in alot of pain so they gave me some morphene ( spelling not sure?) DH was aloud to come and wait with me then because they wanted me to stay lying down for a couple of hours and wanted me to have something to eat and drink.
My doctor came in to see us, which I was not expecting to see her till Monday after the op......She said everything looks in order ....expect my tubes are in the wrong place, they do not line up with my uterus, they go straight up? that means when the egg is released it goes into my stomoch cavity and dies........No wonder we are having problems
Anyway I have to go back for another op late in September or October to fix this........my doctor said it is very unusual but she can fix it!
At least we know now for sure what is wrong. :banghead:
