I know that no-one can help but I just need to "tell" someone. I usually get an e-mail from my mum every day without fail. I havent had any contact since Monday :( This is so unlike her. My DP is away and she would normally make an extra special effort to keep in touch.

My dad has been unwell and I'm wondering if something has happened and they are not telling me:detective:

Its the middle of the night there so I cant do anything for eight hours :crying:

I know there might be nothing wrong, computer could be broken, she might be having a break from emailing etc, but it really is odd.

:fingerscrossed: all is ok , thanks for letting me have my little worry

I can understand you worrying but try not to think of all the bad things that could have happened....yes if your dad has been unwell it is possible she is busy with him but also possible like you said that computer broken or even sillier she may have emailed and it gone astray - mine sometimes do..... so chin up and we look forward to an update....

:smiliedance: :smiliedance: :smiliedance: Just rechecked my email for the 100th time today and guess what there were three emails waiting for me. All is well.

Guess there must have been something wrong with the server. Mum reckons they were delayed because the Grand Prix is on (WTF!!!) Parents.

Anyway thanks to cheekychops and angelkisses for replying.

Phewwwwww

I was going to reply too and say not to worry as is probably a computer prob. Is annoying though with the time difference. Glad all ok,

Jx

I'm glad to hear that they are okay and that it was only a computer glitch. :)

I'm glad to hear they're ok :) I was going to suggest that if you couldn't get through on the phone you could try calling their nearest police station and see if a constable could go do a door knock to check on them.

Thanks everyone. I wouldnt usually worry quite so much but it was very, very unlike my mum not to email, she usually tells me off if I miss a day, not bad for a 74 year old! Also as my dad is ill I was worried.

Anyways thank god for bubhub...made me feel better just posting and knowing someone else knew and cared IYKWIM:D
