Wow didnt expect so many repsonses,terrific am excited now,lol!!

So which week will we do? Where do we go maybe a park where we can bring along thermas or drop off at those take away cafes and bring whatever we want to eat???

What about ringwood lake? Or Does anyone know of a place that has playground enclosed so they wont run off...

What about next Friday, the 16th?

Ringwood Lake is good for me or there is another park called Antonio Park i think. It's on the corner of Maroondah Hwy and Deep Creek Rd.
I don't know about the playground situations though as DS is only 5 months so we haven't been to one before!!

Maybe we could have a plan A and a plan B. Plan A for nice weather- we go to a park. Plan B for not so nice weather- we go to a cafe or something.

Just some suggestions.
What does everyone else think?

Next Friday suits us!! I love ringwood lake park know it well and I think by memory its nots too fair from eastland, so maybe meet at park and if it starts to rain we could head over to eastland to a cafe???

Also if it is bad weather and we need to go somewhere where the kids cant run off....there is an indoor playcentre in lilydale called coco jumbo....it is a fantastic place to take the kids and they just run amok while you drink coffee and chat!!!! lol

Ringwood Lake is great for me too.....not allowed to feed the ducks anymore though....bummer i loved that!!!!

oh bummer i would have come but the 16th clashes with the Melbourne mums meet at Chaddy !! I already have met many mums who are going to that and was looking forward to seeing them again but maybe next time i can come to this meet too ?? Hope so.....

Oh dear, sorry Lisa&boys I didn't realise you had a get together planned for the same day when I set the date for the chaddy meet. :eek: It would be good to meet you. It would be great if you could make it to chaddy, and maybe we could all meet up at Ringwood the following friday?

Thats ok Wattle, no scars given,hehehe...I am meeting Bella today actually so will have a think whether i have guts to come and meet a heap of people (I get rather shy when it comes to meeting strangers, which is my main problem why i dont have alot of friends yet in Melbourne) Just need to get over myself me tinks!
