Hello ladies!
My name is Susan, i am a student midwife studying the Bachelor of Midwifery in Melbourne, and absolutely loving it! As part of our course, we are involved in a program called the 'Follow Through Journey,' which is a student-midwife support program whereby we 'follow through' your pregnancy, either by going to antenatal appointments or classes etc (basically anything pregnancy or birth related!), or just spending some time with you every now and then to learn all about what pregnancy is like for you. It also gives us a chance to offer you some extra support during your pregnancy, and possibly at the birth aswell, as an extra support person, but of course that part is entirely up to you! We can be as involved or uninvolved as you like. I think it's a really lovely opportunity to meet great people, and will be absolutely honoured to be given the chance to become involved in any of your pregnancies, it really is such an exciting time in your life! I'm in Melbourne so basically anyone living anywhere around Melbourne is more than welcome, i'm happy to travel to the outer suburbs to meet you!
