ok, silly question but need to know...

Now I'm not sure exactly how it all works, but can you fall pg on your fertile days or does it have to be once you ovulate? We're not trying till end of the year, but we didn't use protection once and I've check the calendar and it was on one of my fertile days? Just wanted to see if anyone can inform me a bit....i feel silly not knowing how it all works properly esp when I already have one child!!:confused:

The guys swimmers can hang around and wait for the egg for up to 3 days if the conditions are right. The conditions tend to be right a couple days before ovulation, hence those days are your fertile days.

I used an ovulation calendar. The one I used tells you what days to do it etc, it even tells you which days would be best to concieve a certain sex.

Thanks girls...that makes it a lot clearer, and I don't feel so silly not knowing!!- well if I Ovulate on the day i'm supposed too, and the swimmers have managed to stay alive for the 3 days....we may have one on the way..which wouldn't be a bad thing even if it's a bit earlier than planned!!:eek:
