borderline results?

my friend thinks she is preg so she done a test and it didnt come up with anythin then she done another and there was a faint line so she went to the dr and got some blood tests and she got the results back tonite and it said it was borderline. not positive and not negative, wat does this mean? does it mean she is preg but not far enough for it to produce a clear result? she got some more blood tests tonite and will find out the results tomorrow nite, but she really wants to know wat this borderline results mean

I was a good 6 days late before I got even a faint line come up. She just needs to wait another few days, but a blood test would let her know 100%.
