Hey ladies

So I got my :bfp: the other day :smiliedance:

But now am having ms which I didnt get with DD but wondering how am I meant to look after DD and get stuff done when I feel like puking all the time??
Its too hard and I'm really tired and and just wanna lie on the couch and do nothing but the housework needs to be done and DD needs to be looked after and get some attention.

This prenancy is going to be soo much harder I think!! If any of you wise and lovely ladies have a solution PLEASE share!!

I'm in the same boat. DD is only 10 months and it does get a little difficult to find the energy to do everything that needs to be done. All I can suggest is, rest when you can and only do what's necessary. Call on your partner or friends/family to help you if you can. DH has had to do more around the house.

I have just gotten over my morning sickness but when it was still a problem I just did what I could and tried not to push myself too hard. It passes.

Thanks girls,
OH has been awsome tonight, offered to get take away (he never does this as he's a scrooge) fed bathed and got DD to bed and he NEVER complains about the housework well except for the clothes cos he's not allowed to use the washing machine.

He says its better than last time when I was cranky with him the whole time! LOL

When i was pregnant with DS2 i had morning sickness until about 26 weeks, and it sucked! I found that if i could keep DS1 amused enough to lie on the couch it helped, and the housework definitely took a back burner. Some days when i was busy (and couldn't put off the housework anymore!) i felt somewhat better, as i wasn't thinking about feeling seedy all the time. I know it probably sounds silly though. Listen to your body, and rest when you can. Enjoy the little person you are busy growing, no matter how yukky you feel. Congratulations on your BFP!

except for the clothes cos he's not allowed to use the washing machine.

 My DP didn't even know how to use the machine, i was out one day when he called to ask what to do. I laughed so hard, but was happy for the help, even if he didn't do it just like i do it. I'm a bit anal when it comes to laundry :)

Honestly, you just have to do the bare minimum and be in survival mode :hugs: When I was pregnant with DD, I was so sick that I basically laid on the lounge all day hugging my spew bucket while DS played around me. Wiggles DVD's were my saviour during that time!

If you have moments of feeling 'ok-ish', use that time to prepare dinner in advance and get the basics done.

I hope you start feeling better soon :hugs:

this may sound really bad, but tv was my saviour, ds used to watch it for most of the day whilst dp was at work. the only time i got off the couch was to feed or change ds or to spew, it was horrible. i hope you are feeling better soon :hugs:
