Hey everyone..just need to know if anyone else has come across this?

I was in a hospital waiting room last week with my 3 year old ds and he was playing with another boy there about the same age. All of a sudden my ds screamed "ROCK"(a slang) and did the hand jester (index finger and pinky up with 2 middle fingers and thumb down) at this little boy..I thought the little boys mum was going to have a heart attack..I had to explain that he didn't mean to be rude it was just something his FATHER taught him..my ds then went on to pull faces in fun..again something dh taught him..

Don't get me wrong my dh is great with the 2 boys but sometime I could go mad..

Does anyone else have something dh has taught ds or dd that hasn't been exactly what u would like them to repeat frequently.

If so please share it so I can know that I'm not the only one..:D

Yes my lovely MIL taught Boof to blow raspberries then proceeded to teach him to do it with a mouth full of food :banghead:
We cant wait for the day we visit & he does it back to her !

DD doesn't really talk or do anything at the moment...but I can only imagine that she will do some pretty embarrassing things when she's older.

My Dad is an absolute IDIOT and no doubt he's going to teach her to do something embarassing.

Someone else was actually playing with DD's cabbage patch doll...and they taught her to SMACK IT. Now she kisses it occassionally...and then all of a sudden, she'll yell at it, smack it, and throw it away.

She smacks us too now...it's accompanied by an "oh!" noise. It's actually kinda funny at the moment because it doesn't do any harm...but I don't want her ot smack other kids.
