DIY sperm donor?

We just wanted to know how many women have used a private donor and done the DIY method instead of going to a clinic? We have a few potential donors and are going to DIY but are a bit nervous. Can anyone share there stories with us please,

Sorry but cant help on the DIY sperm job but good luck anyway ...... I wondered where you found your sperm donors - were they friends or did you advertise or something ????

my husband donates via turkey baster method - the recipients wait downstairs at their hotel and he does his thing in the room in a speciman jar and calls them when he is done then leaves. This of course is only done when they know they are ovulating but its been successful so far.
