Pepti Junior & Acidy chuck up & poos???

Hi ladies

Hoping you could help me. My baby has recently been diagnosed with Eczema and has been put on Pepti Junior she is 5 months old.
Ever since starting her on Pepti Junior she has been chucking up sometimes and it's really acidy smelling, and now her poo's smell acidy too. Sometimes she strains to fart too so i think it's causing bad wind too??
Just thinking, this is probably bad for her osophegus (sp?) right?
Should I go back to the paed or wait until after she has her allergy test in a months time???

I don't know if I'm going to be much help here but just thought I'd share with you what my DS's GI said about the formula. He said that hydrolised formula's such as Pepti Junior can constipate babies and recommended that my DS take coloxyl drops 3 times a day to help with this. So possibly your little one is a bit blocked up hence straining?

Not sure about the chucking but DS also started chucking after changing formula - perhaps because it's so thin? It stinks as well. It's not so bad anymore though and seemed to calm down after about a month and he doesn't seem to chuck nearly as much now.

Pepti jr isn't as hydrolyzed as neocate and elicare. I would maybe consider changing formula.

With all the allergy dramas I've had with DD i would personally be going to the paed.
