hey everyone im new to this site and i just wanted to share my story ...
I am 22 yrs old and fell pregnant for the first time last year in june i was very excited , i had a healthy pregnancy and all my scans returned nothing out of the ordinary after my 18 week scan i recieved a dose of h1n1 to protect from swine flu as recommended by my doctor, everything continued as normal until 26 weeks i had some bad cramping so my partner drove me straight up to the nambour hospital where i spent the night under observation , the next morning i felt fine but the docytors suggest i have an ultrasound .... the result was my baby girl had a small head about 4 weeks too small so from there i was sent to the rbwh where i had more scans and eventually a mri on my baby by this stage i was 31 weeks and on christmas eve received the worst news possible my baby had a stroke or something of that kind and had schizencephaly with bi lteral clefts ect it was terrible . i was told her quality of life would be nil and that she would be lucky to survive birth ... i had a stilbirth 6 jan at 32 weeks ..specialists i have seen say it could of been the swine flu injection but will not comment they have no other suggestions i have seen a geneticist an he said that it was neither in mine or my partners genes for this to occur ... i believe h1n1 is not safe

First of all welcome and massive hugs for your loss hun! :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: I am so so sorry you had to go through that.

I too do not believe that the vaccine is safe and I DEFINTELY do not agree with pregnant women recieving it. I hope you sharing your story at least makes people think twice and seriously do their research into the history of this virus and the pharma companies efforts to profit from it.

:hugs::hugs:big hugs!! Thats so terrible!

Im assuming by the time line it would have been roughly when the swine flu vax first came out???

I received the dual flu/H1N1 vax this year (april i think) and it was when all the little kids were reacting to it so they banned it for kids, but my DRs both insisted that i get it.... so far everything seems ok for us (god i hope so)

but yes i do agree with doing all ur research before having any vax or test during pregnancy! I wish i had been a little bit stronger to put my foot down about a few things during mine....

Big hugs again and i am so sorry about ur loss :hugs:
