For those of you TTC, how often are you having sex?

Someone told me to do it every day, but someone else said every second day? :confused:

What do you all think?

yes i've heard every 2nd day but i don't do that, too much effort:laughing:

We do it every 2nd day around ovulation day so from about 5 days before and 5 days after O

Hi there! good question and from what i have found some people dtd everday and get a bfp and some do in once and get a bfp:confused: we normally dtd every second day around O but havent got a bfp yet so this last cycle we dtd every day in my fertile time but still :bfn: so i dont know but im interested to hear other peoples opinions!

every second day is preferable cos dh needs time to make sperm but as long as it isnt more than once a day you should be fine.

My OB said every second day to give the sperm a chance to re-group.

Makes sense but doing it every second day means that there is a chance that I miss the actual O day! Oh it's all so hard!

I read it's better every second day as seamen can last for upto 3 days inside you and men need a couple of days to reach full sperm count. :)

Hubby would love it twice a day but im happy to give in every 2nd or 3rd day!

We did it every day simply because we weren't measuring when I was ovulating so we didn't want to 'miss' it so to speak. Anyway, I've been pregnant three times now. First two times I fell pregnant in the second month of trying; third time I fell pregnant in the first month of trying. Could be super-fertile I guess, but it worked for us.

I agree! It does make it hard! I don't want to miss O day either!

In August we dtd every second day from the end of AF until my DP flew back to work. After 12mths of trying we got a BFP. I truly believe that dtd every second day and using Preseed helped me to get utd. Good Luck.
