chucky baby just got chuckier!

My 3 1/2 month old dd is on 10mg losec for reflux which till now has kept the reflux in check. However in the last 24 hours or so she has started upchucking again. Has anyone else experienced this and what does it all mean?!!

Are you using thickner? Losec and the likes only neutralise the stomache acids, it doesn't stop the vomiting.

Losec doesnt stop the chucking, just dulls the stomach acid to a decent pH level so that it doesnt burn as much when it comes up.

She could be having a bad day, could be sick, could be anything. Its really hard to pin point why.

Ah you are right (re not stopping chucking). No, not using thickener as she is bf'd. Will see how she goes tomorrow. Thanks for your replies.

You can still use thickener with a BF bub, just needs to be made into a gel.
