Hi young mum, I live near Parramatta and know the hills area fairly well cause I grew up there. I'm 22 as well with a partner 13 years my senior. I lost contact with my 'age group' years ago and now I have my long wished for 3month boy, would like to meet new people I can relate to.

So what are your non-mum interests and hobbies? I like to watch cult Tv like Charmed and Dawson's creek, am empathetic towards the environment and individual thinking. Didn't finish Uni cause I was pregnant and had various clerical jobs to make ends meet? Are you a stay at home mum or do you do childcare? Have you been to Parramatta recently? It's such a funky new shopping area.

My son is a very happy curious little thing, with a dual nature and a bad temper tantrum if crossed. He likes to bat his toys and chew his dummy and is really really wants to talk. Tell me about Ashton?

Hi Claire, How old is ur son? Ashton is very active, and very strong. Loves his food! (started solids about 1 month ago, he was 4 and a bit months) Hes nearly 9kg! He sucks his thumb (he would never take a dummy) and he has just started sleeping through the night :fingerscrossed:!

I dont relate to any of my friends that are my age anymore (their still going out drinking ect!) And I cant find any young mums in this area so its really hard!

I was in parra today actually! Caught the ferry from parra to the city! It was really nice! I also used to work in parra before Ash was born! Im a SAHM now. Are u? So where abouts in the hills did u grow up? What were u studying at uni?

I love watching cult tv to like, smallville, desperate housewives, six feet under, Lost, Rescue me, scrubs....LOL list goes on!!!
I used to love dancing! Im into anything natural, free thinking too!

I love desperate houssewives!!! Am a total addict and also love grey's anatomy now its back on as well. I dont spend much time with my old friends anymore either and my DF and I find it hard al ot of the time because we only have one real friend who has a bub and she lives about an hour and a half away from us so we dont see her often. I love my old friends but they are all still studying and living the 'single' lifestyle which I just cant and dont want to do anymore. It is great catching up with them once in a while but dont have enough in common with them to see them often. It's hard because I've had to miss a few 21sts and things because Abby wasnt well and they just dont understand. Im really keen to make new friends that have bubs. My DF wants to make friends with other dads too. He is an internal person but loves to catch up with his mates. Just recently he's found the same problems with them as I have with my friends. There is only so much 'polite' conversation you can make with people.
