I would like to get capsule for the next baby and was wondering if anyone has one of the following and could tell me how good they are?
Safe n Sound Unity Baby Carrier:

and
BabyLove Primo Capsule

TIA Katie
We had the Babylove one for DS.
I originally was set on the Safe-nSound unity, but when we went to buy it, we were told the Babylove had more protection in collisions, all the way around the baby.
It also can be used as a rocker (for ppl who don't bf, this can be great as you can feed baby in it too).
Yep, you can use it with and without base. So we had the base in one car, but could just strap it in to the other car, without a base when i had to rush somewhere quickly.
We actually used it for about 4-5 months, but DS is a tall baby, and grew out of it quickly, which was fine i thought the capsule served its purpose by that point.
We had it in near perfect condition anyway, so we put it on e-bay and got $40 short of what we paid for it when we bought it brand new.
And the ppl who bought it love it too apparently.

We have the Babylove capsule and absolutely love it! Never had any issues with it at all.
Looking forward to pulling it out of the box again for this next baby!

I've had both and there are pro's and con's for both. As far as I know they both hold 9kg, I currently have the unity and it holds 9kg or up to 70cm.
Primo:
Pros: doesnt require a base, VERY easy to adjust the seatbelt simply turn dial at the back and its adjusted. Easy to clean. Can be used as a chair for baby as u put the handle back and its stable
Cons: without the base doesnt feel as safe and getting the seatbelt through the seat can be tricky
Unity:
Pros: includes insert for small/premmie babies. Feels secure with base, easy to get in and out as base stays put.
Cons: not as easy to clean as primo. Must be used with the base.
I prefer the looks of the unity and the features of the primo. Life would be a lot easier with the unity if it didnt require a base however I do feel its much safer WITH the base :)

I have also seen a brand new capsule made by Fisher-Price it looks identical in stucture and in absolutley every way to the safe n sound unity, the only difference is the cover and its colour. It also has a 3 wheeler pram and a stroller that can be used with it as a travel system. Target had it in sale in Perth last week for $239. I loved it!!!!

Hey just a suggestion - why not hire a capsule from Queensland ambulance instead of paying out big dollars for something that you really don't use for long.
I think its around $55 for 6 months.
Hi
have a baby Love Primo and i liked it, it was good except i found it very heavy im quite small and i couldn't carry it, so it stayed in the car all the time unless DF was there. I also have the old style capsule and i found it much better to use i could carry it and it was a little easier to get back into the car.
