.... how long does pregnancy hormone stay in your body for? After the birth it's pretty much gone, right? What I'm asking is, if you do a preg test, how accurate is it if you've only had a baby 3 months ago? Is it more likely to show a false positive, or a false negative? Or would it be best to just go straight to the doc and have a blood test?

Hiya Queenie! I'm pretty sure it's gone after about 8 weeks as far as I know... But I'm normally asking YOU this kind of stuff!!
Maybe a blood test would be the best idea to be sure... :hugs: to you

Excellent question! I was breastfeeding my twins who are only 4 and a half months and I STILL got pregnant! I think unless you take full precautions there is a chance of pregnancy. I honestly thought I was safe, but look at me now! I am due in April next year!

I have hormonal pimples, which I usually only ever get in the weeks leading up to my period, ie around the time I ovulate. And sadly I DTD with husband recently, a couple of times.

I am probably just fuh-REAKING out over nothing. :o

 you girls make me laugh !!

Hmm well I've never actually asked myself that question.... but now that u have brought it to my attention... i figured that as soon as the baby popped out, if you did a pregnancy test it would come up negative...

But i do have a pregnancy brain so most of my words and thoughts are around 50% accurate ;)

Hi Queenie babe. I know we are all coming across very, very curious and impatient (which we are to a point!) but really, speaking for myself and surely other's, we are concerned for you. I may be speaking out of turn but I am assuming this isn't something you want right now? Remember, that no matter what the outcome, you've got us to fall onto if you need to. Scream, vent, cry whatever you need to do if this is the case.
:fingerscrossed: for you-it's a very scary place to be in! :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
