View Full Version : Stretch marks removal?
Is there any good cream for skin elasticity and stretch marks that I can get in the local chemists?
I feel my tummy area getting loose and it might be hard to get back in shape again after birth.
Generally I have a fat tummy even before pregnancy so I am more concern now than before

Exercise, water. good food and time will help you to get back into shape. As far as fading stretch marks...again, time...and Bio Oil which you can get from the chemist.
I'm a fan of Vitamin E oil from chemists.. I've used it on some pretty nasty scars and they're almost invisible now!!
But a lot of it is genetics I think..

I have tried 'Mederma' and the marks have faded, but not sure if that's the cream or just the passing of time. The cream needs to be applied 3-4 times a day, and I just forget, so I probably haven't given it the best chance to work!
I agree with a previous poster, time fades them pretty well anyway.

I never got a stretch mark with dd and I carried all out in front and then with dS I was stretchmark free until I hit 36 weeks. Again I carried all out in front but this time I was huge. Unfortunately no amount of bio oil helped get rid of them but it did make my tummy less itchy due to the stretching. I only got them around my belly button.
They have faded but that is not the problem once my tummy disappeared the stretch marks have become puckered all around my belly button and the more slim I become the worse it gets. I have decided that once we have fnished having kids and I am in shape after the last kid then I will have my tummy done to get it looking smooth again.
That is my little bit of vanity. DH says that when I get it done that I should get my boobs put back to where they used to be as well. lol

hi, i am not pregnant but got really bad stretchmarks a few years ago that looked horrible! i had them all over my hips, boobs and inner thinghs. They are now fully faded and u never would tell that i had them so bad.... i tried EVERYTHING and the 2 things i eventually found to be the best (and swear by) are Bio-oil in and Palmers Cocoa butter concentrated massage cream for stretchmarks and has been designed for pregnant women. I used these 2 twice daily alternating them (one in the morning and another at night after my shower). Hopefully these will work for u too :)
