,,,,,,,:)
Can you contact your local early childhood centre. The midwives there should be able to hook you up with a mother's group with babies the same age as your little one.
 hi Simone, I joined one through my nearest childhood centre (Double Bay). The hospital sent a referral to the centre I chose and they contacted me for an initial meeting with the nurse to see how everything was going when bub was 2 weeks old. Sahra is 4 months old now and we also attend a baby playgroup located in Bondi at the corner of Wairoa Ave and Brighton Blvd from 1.30-3.30 every Wednesday. It's a new group and only started 3 weeks ago. There are about 8-10 women that attend, including a few from my mothers group. At this age the bubs don't do much, we just eat, drink and chat and the bubs lie on blankets on the patio outside. When they get a bit older there are toys and games we can play. It's really just a mum social gathering for the time being! There's probably a few other playgroups around too, most with babies a bit older than ours.
I live in Rose Bay so would be happy to catch up with you for a walk or a coffee sometime. :)

Hi,
I have moved back to Paddington (NSW) and was wondering if there are any mothers groups out there for us to join.
My kids are a little bit older now - 2 and 4 years of age, and I work part-time.
Let me know it would be nice to mix.

i have a 15 month old and am looking for a mothers group too...in the eastern suburbs area
Hi, I have just moved to the Eastern suburbs after living abroad for 10 years. I have a 15month old baby and a 5 year old boy. Can anybody reccommend a group/activity that would suit them both? My son will start school in January but in the meantime he could really do with meeting some other children a simillar age.
Thanks for your help.

Last week I went to the Holdsworth Community Centre - they have a baby playgroup and playgroups for older kids. It was great. Highly recommend having a look at their website and giving it a go.

Hi guys,
I just started a social group on Facebook for exactly this!!
http://tinyurl.com/bondibabies
for parents in the Eastern Suburbs. I hope you will all join and find it helpful!
I'm still pregnant and in the sister group I made first: BondiBumps.
But I hope to join you all there, having lots of fun by the time I get there!
Warm wishes,
Marietta

Hi
I just moved to Double Bay from New York with my husband, and we are six weeks away from our first angel. I would love some information on a mother's group in my area everything is new, and a bit lost on where to go.
thank you
