THE Coalition has now leapt forward in the two-party-preferred vote, taking over from Labor with a lead of 1531 votes on the AEC's latest count.

oh wow, i've lost interest in the election results now. its dragged out way too long now.....but how very interesting.
I've been invited to a national Party ball in perth soon...not sure what to make of that, how i got invited and what to expect exactly, but i don't mind a free dinner and a drink :D, so i'll probably go.

I was watching something on the news this morning about this and how long it has been since we've had such close results ... very interesting and I normally don't watch all the elections stuff. :p
I did hear it was because the AEC have removed 8 seats from the TPP count, as Coalition and Labor didn't come first and second. So if say a Green came second in a seat, they've pulled that seat from the count. Sounds sort of like statistical black magic to me...
