I have been attending a mums group run by the Acacia Ridge Neighborhood Center in south Brisbane but due to the lack of numbers attending in the last few weeks they have had to cancel it for now:( . I know for sure that there are a lot of mums and bubs out there in the our suburb and all the surrounding suburbs and hopefully some of you may be interested in joining us. We have been meeting every 2nd thursday at 10.00am to 12.00pm for coffee chats and sometimes even some craft the next meeting should have been tomorrow. Im hoping that there may be some bub hub members out there that would be interested in comming along. If so then please let me know so that i can ring the lovely ladies up at the neighborhood centre and let them know that all is not lost. There is no age limit on the children attending in the past we had children up to 4 years old attending they have a range of toys as well as an outdoor play area with swings and other playround equipment. If your worried about how to get there if you have to rely on public transport then there is a bus stop right accross the road from the centre.
If anyone is interested then please leave a short note letting me know and hopefully I can let the ladies at the neighaborhood center know and they wont have to cancel the group. Even just 3 other mums and bubs would be enough to keep it up and running :yes: . After all we all need someone to talk to every now and then.
