Hi All, I am interested to know if anyone has experienced a hematoma or subchronic hemoarage in your pregnancy I am currently 14 weeks pregnant and was first diagnosed with a subchronic left sided hemoarage/hematoma at 6 weeks after a large bleed. I am now 14 weeks and have just experienced another one, I feel devesatated and scared, I was wondering if anyone knew of any tips to keep the bleeding at bay or even a cure :yelclap:. I currently have two beautiful girls one 11 a full termer and a 4.5year old premmie 32 wks.
I would be hapy to hear anyones storys

Hi
I had a subchronic hematoma with my DD. I never had a bleed but it was discovered at an ultrasound at around 7weeks. The ultrasound lady was suprised that i hadn't had a bleed. At my 12 week scan it was still there but had reduced and by the time of my morph scan it was gone. And i had no complications. Most of these hematomas disapear by themselves.
From what i know and researched when i was pregnant ( don't use google as it always makes you stress more) it is quite common - yes there can be bad outcomes but rare - a few others posted when i had the same question and their pregnancies continued fine and some had bleeds, some had no bleeds and some had bleeds all the way thru - so just releax let your Dr, midwife etc keep an eye on it and hopefuly all will be good.
HTH :D
