Hi,
I just came across these above posts, and am also a first time mum-to-be (due in June 2012) who would be interested in meeting up with any other mum's to be for either exercise, or general friends to share the experience. I live in Wollstonecraft.
Hi there I'm in St Leonards. I have a 17 month old and am 10 weeks pregnant with number 2. Would be keen to catch up for walks or coffee or whatever really!

Cool, I'd definitely be keen to organise something at some stage. Are we able to private message on here???
Hi darcyandgeorge! I just tried to send you a message, but it wouldn't send- I don't think you have enough posts. Anyway message me if you like and we can line something up!

Hey ladies, that would be great!! I still can't believe we're actually here and about to have a baby in 5 weeks!
I've caught a cold from my husband, great timing or what. So I don't think I'll be good company this week but will definitely message when I'm feeling better. xx

Hi ladies,
I hope you both are well.
I've finally recovered from my cold and was wondering if you fancied catching up sometime next week?

I'm seeing my midwife tomorrow afternoon but I'm free the rest of the week. As I'm still pretty new to the area I'm not sure where to meet up but everywhere Greenwich or Chatswood would be Google for me. By the way do you known how to send a private message?

I think you have to post maybe 5 times to enable the message system. Let me know if you figure it out!
Thursday morning is good for me... I'm happy to meet locally.

Hi there, my family and I moved over to Sydney about 3 weeks ago, we're living in the Cremorne/Neutral Bay area. My son is nearly 11 months old. Would be great to make some new mummy friends and also for my wee boy to meet some little friends his age. Also, are there any Mum and baby groups anyone can recommend?

I started the thread, but I don't live in Sydney anymore, but the best play group ever (hopefully its still on) is at crows nest Tafe, it's set up by the diploma children's services, I think it's most week days, it's about $5 for little ones, but there's heaps of activities and usually tonnes of mums so its a great place to meet people.

Hi there,
Thanks for your reply. We've been here a couple of months now and have met some lovely Mums. We've been to the Connections playgroup, although we seem to be going to the TAFE more often now as it's really good. We haven't tried any of the groups at North Sydney yet, so thanks for the info. Be good to meet up for coffee or at one of the playgroups if you're free.
