Hi Girls, I know its a bit silly asking this question (seeing my boy is 19.5 weeks old) but I was just wondering how often you change your babys nappy? I usually change him first wake of the morning & then about 15 min after every feed (every 4-5 hours). I find I have to wait that extra 10-15min after his feed for him to do his 'little wee' & then change him. Just curious to know if everyone else is doing the same thing more or less :) thanks!
When bub is in disposables, I change them every 3-4 hours, unless she's done a poo of course!
When she's in cloth nappies, I seem to change her approx every 1 1/2 - 2 hours, sometimes if she's gone to sleep she can last 4 or so hours.
I give her a wipe with a little flannel and water at every change, and so far I've rarely needed to use zinc cream for any redness - in fact I've not even used a half container of it since she was born 6mths ago.
Edited to add: Bub sleeps in a disposable and I don't change her until after she wakes in the morning

MJ is in disposables and I change her about 30mins after feeds during the day but before her feed at night and first thing in the morning (she falls asleep and I don't want to disturb her). OR as soon I hear or smell that she's dirtied.
Hi Girls,
When Samuel was a newborn i changed his when he woke before a feed now that he's 16mths i change him every 2 hours or sometimes less if he's done a poo in between time he's in disposables and never got nappy rash and never
will either
Marcy mummy to Samuel :)

My DD is nearly 10mths old but I usually change her nappy when she first wakes in the morning (very pee'd in of course) then through out the day is normally every 2 - 4 hours and straight away when I can smell she has done a number 2 in there. But I go by the feel of the nappy as I can be really expensive if you change them too often, but I would never let her stay in a very soaked nappy.
