Most ship to devonport. Burnie is about half an hour or so from there.
You could ship to devonport and arrange local transport to deliver your container to burnie. :)

My Parents moved from Devonport to Rockhampton so the other way around they loaded both of the cars and trailer and went through the spirit of Tasmania and drove from melbourne to Rockhampton Burnie is about an hour away from Devonport

Sorry. I'm from Hobart, so I don't know any of the local companies that operate around that area.
My hubby said he will ask at work next week and see who has a side loader. Thats where you will be limited, allot of companies dont have one, so they cant get the containers from the boat, or off their trucks. :)
He's on holidays till Monday, but I can get back to you Monday/Tuesday. :)

Hubby just said that he thinks TasFreight ship to Burnie, and so do SeaRoads (but they are expensive). He also said that you wont get a container across on the Spirit as they dont take general freight, only companies.
He did suggest you could give Highland Haulage (located in Deloraine) a call and speak to them, seems to think they may be able to assist you. :)
