Probiotics ??

Quick question for those who use probiotics with their bubbas: did your bub experience any side effects? If so what, and for how long? Did you stop the probiotics or persevere?

Not sure if its just coincidence but seems bub's wind is worse with starting probiotics :confused:

How old is your bub?

When my DD was 12 month old-ish, I was told to give her some Probiotics, and was recommended to buy 'Inner Health Plus' capsules and just break a capsule open and give her that. It worked a treat and we had no side effects etc.

I have also found no side effects with the probiotic baby yoghurt or toddler formulas.
If there's ever been any issues, such as diarreah etc, it's usually been from the cause of me using the probiotics in the first place, for example 'antibiotic induced wind/diarreah.

my DS has not experienced any side effects however our GI told us that probiotics do tend to cause more wind.

As I recall there is a little more wind for a week or so until everything settles down, after that things have been great. More regular, less wind= happy bub.
