Provera

Just wondering if anyone has taken Provera to start a period? What were your experiences and how long till AF arrived?

I have just finished a 7 day course yesterday and have no clue when AF is likely to show up.

Hi,

I took Provera in 2004 and from the final day of tablets it took 3 days for AF to arrive.

Hi jokobsmum,
I took Provera earlier this year and after the first course (7 days on minimum dose) AF didn't arrive. So, my doctor advised me to double the course and after 3 days AF showed up and I had to stop taking Provera.
I never had to take it again. AF was like clockwork from that point on.
