Car birthday cake

Good morning
My soon to be 3 year old son would like a car cake but I cannot find one at all.
I could buy one for $90+ but that is getting ridiculous!
I can see some people have posted pictures of their car cakes but no receipes to go with them.
I would be so grateful if someone could help me.

I recently did a few for my DS's 4th birthday. All i did was print off a colouring in page from the computer cut out the main bit iced it then did the finer details by hand. Here is how they turned out:

I have done a 3d Car cake, i think from memory i just baked 2 loaves cut one in half put it on top of the whole one then carved it into the shape of a car, then covered in the roll out icing.
