these are from my 20 week scan months ago. we didnt find out the sex, however i did google what i was supposed to be looking for, and im certain it's a girl :)

but id like to know your opinions, esp if youve had a girl before - do you see the 3 lines, or am i just seeing things? :confused:

a friend tried telling me im wrong, and that it's a boy, because she's having a boy, but my thoughts were "oh shut up, you dont know any more than i do" lol :rolleyes:

Im pregnant with a girl this time round (according to 2 ultrasounds) but I couldnt really see it... I know with my son you couldnt mistake his "thingy".. It was clear as day. Especially the scrotum. I cant really see that on either of yours and it looks very similar to my ultrasounds of DD so my bets are on girl. Congratulations!!! awesome news:yelclap:

i can see how the first pic looks like a boy with the bulging bit, but i can also see the vagina hamburger, which is why we think girl :D

if anyone would like to post pics of their definite girl ultrasounds so i can compare, that would be fantastic!

for someone who doesnt want to know the sex, i will admit, i am so very curious, and the surprise/secret IS killing me hehe

I think boy also, mainly from the first pic.... it is a hard one though, as not the best angles. I do see the three lines you are talking in the other pic but I don't think it really looks like a vagina (looks a bit small), or in the right spot (looks a bit high up the tummy)... It could be the cord or even the penis floating... I think the genitalia is cut off and would be slightly lower.

I just uploaded 4 pics for you to compare if you like the first is a potty shot of my son, the second a potty shot of the baby I am pg with atm (who is predicted to be girl from scans), and the other two I think are similar to yours looking down on the bub, I have circled her supposed vagina.

I can see how the second shot may look girly but it's not an ideal angle.. You need a shot like the first one which is clearly between the legs.

I had another look and I think definatly a boy. You wouldn't get the 3 line effect that far up, especially this far in your pregnancy. I have three boys and I have seen the first pic oh so many times.

It looks like a boy I think, i've had 2 girls and there was no bulging out bits, just 3 white lines, I can see what looks like the penis in the first shot

I have had a girl and a boy and seen both on the ultrasound. I think its a boy.

I think it's a boy going by the 1st pic. I have a boy and a girl. Looks much more like DS's scan than DD's. She had 3 distinct lines no buldge seen from any angle. Infact DH called it before the ultrasound lady did.

Do you have any other angles to post, like the potty shot. Look for the shot that they measure the baby's femur bone!

Like you i have no idea either. We didn't find out what we are having and i can't tell by my scans either. You will find out soon though :)

I didn't find out with my scan and when I posted pics the majority said they thought it was a girl...and it didn't look like your pics!
Isn't funny we don't want to know but can't help ourselves. I've still got 19 and a half weeks to go!

I think its a boy only because its bulging in the first pic, saying that when i had my last ultrasound i said aww look the babys hand its waving and the tech goes ummm thats the cord :doh: so that shows how much i know :laughing:

i only seen my girls lines though with the potty shot view between the legs.

I agree that it looks like a boy, the shot that you think looks like a hamburger looks to me like a penis squashed against the lower abdomen. Remember girls bits are downwards and not visible like that from the front.

i am a bit late reading this.. but if I found out you had a girl I would be shocked.. I think it is a boy for sure. With DD1 as soon as her body showed on the monitor I could see the three bright white lines no matter what angle, but especially a good shot from the front would show it. The fact that its a bulge with no internal bits showing I think looks like the boy ultrasounds I have seen 100%.. like everyone else says, can't tell from the second shot so who knows :) ps lily is a pretty name

ladies!!! i am about FIVE months too late in posting this! lol, i havent forgotten about it - just every time i go on the internet, i usually get distracted by facebook and never make it onto the forum! gah!!

anyway - yes, as lovemybabies said, we had a boy! yay!! so everyone was right hehe =) we were pretty stoked - i am guilty of hi-fiving nick when the midwife told us it was a boy, it was such a nice surprise, because even though we were unsure, we did think it was a girl, but both wanted a boy, so it all worked out nicely =)
