Anyone else had this problem? My little girl has been doing brilliantly at potty training since we started about 6 weeks ago, she is now 2 1/2 years old.
It took her about 2 days to get it together, and she's only wet herself about 3 times since we started.
BUT - she won't poop on the potty and is now holding on until she's in nappy pants and after she goes to bed, which means she then needs a change by about 8.30pm.
Does anyone else have this problem? It's just so strange because she openly yells that she needs to do a wee wee and goes straight to the toilet!!!???

would love to see someone post an answer to your question! We are totally stalled on tt as dd1 refuses to poo anywhere but in a nappy. She says she is scared of poos in the loo! I have been telling her that one day soon she will be too big for nappies and will have to poo on the loo. Can't bring myself to do it to her though, hoping something will trigger her to get over the fear herself <img src="images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0" alt="" title="rolleyes" smilieid="59" class="inlineimg" />

So glad it's not just me annamac!! My little girl's not scared though, she wants to look at mine and her little sisters poos!! TMI there I know - ha ha ha ha!
Yep - my DD1 did this for a looooong time and it drove me BONKERS!!!!
I think it was at least a couple of months before she would poop on the toilet / potty and she was fully trained with wees. She would just wait until her night nappy went on and then would poop within 2 or 3 minutes. ARGH! She knew she needed to poo, but would say she didn't.
As her nappies were dry in the mornings, in the end I just wouldn't put a nappy on her for night time. First night she had a tanty and wouldn't poo, second night with no nappy she gave it and did it on the potty...
I did use chocolate as a bribe though, lol. Had to in the end, as I was worried about her becoming constipated...
Good luck! It is painful, but will be over soon!
