My DD Summer has turned into a monkey!! By that I mean she has been climbing up onto EVERYTHING!! The kitchen table, the kitchen benches, the computer desk everything! I've tried moving everything away so she cant get up there but she drags chairs to where she wants to climb & up she goes! Im worried she is going to fall one day & hurt herself badly so any one who has has been in the same situation what did you find worked from stopping the child turning into a monkey? :o

My daughter isnt a monkey as such
shes a frog! shes been named kikker (which is dutch for frog) ever since she was in utero. she just kicks!! she kicks alot...:o and she jumps up and down like shes in a mosh pit ! its really funny how kids actions can remind you of another animals actions. STRANGE!

i could have written this exact post, it is driving me bonkers. i have no suggestions, but i am considering getting rid of all the chairs in the house:rolleyes: that way she won't be able to climb on them....
Krissy when you work it out, let me know please!
I even moved the chairs into the storeroom, so she pushed her high chair and pram over to the table instead and climbed straight up! I quite often go to the toilet only to come out and find her on the table or the kitchen bench!

Oh no!! Yeah i am constantly moving all the chairs out onto the verandah but they always find something to climb up on dont they?? It just worries me because we live in a two storey house & the computer desk is right next to the window  So when i go to the toilet or something like that she comes with me or i make sure she is not alone because as soon as i leave this desk she heads straight for it!
