Hi Everyone!

I'm 18 weeks, and i have a really itchy rash that covers my entire belly.
I also have been treating myself for thrush, and i was wondering can thrush spread outside the vagina?
I have been sick with a cold/flu virus and the rash didn't appear until after my fever stopped...
I know it sounds like everything is wrong with me, but i am a little worried as to what this rash might be. I have gone to a GP and they have said that it because my skin is stretching.
Is it worth getting a blood test done?
Thanks in advance if you can help! :fingerscrossed:

If your really concerned & think something is wrong go for a blood test, cant hurt but I had the same rash both pregnancies from my skin stretching too. It was very very very itchy & drove me nutty. Sounds like what you have right now. :)

Did your rash look like tiny little red bumps?

Sorry to ask just curious :)

Sounds similar to what I had, which was a bumpy red rash across my stomach, thighs, behind my knees, up my sides and down my arms to my elbow. It drove me insane especially at night (I was carrying full term in the hottest time of the year).

After a number of tests I was told that it was probably hormonal and that in some people you just itch. I had weekly EGC's on the baby and had to try to sit still for a whole hour at a time and thought I would go insane from the itchiness.

I would probably just get some tests done to be sure as peace of mind is important. There are some conditions to do with your liver that can make you itchy.

I found the best way to stop the itching was to soak in a cold bath and use sorbolene cream that you have put in the fridge. AVOID hot showers and baths as they only make it worse.

I feel for you though......Happy scratching!
