As I wrote in my recent thread "YAY Clomid gave me a follicle!"
http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=35263 I finally got a follicle and subsequent ovulation in my first round on Clomid. :smiliedance:

It looks as if I have ovulated on Friday (I think Sat but fertility place says Friday from my bloods).. :detective:

However already only 4dpo I am feeling all sorts of symptoms and I told myself I wouldnt!! :shame:

Since the day after ovulation (Sat) I have had really sore nipples, and they still are. They look bigger to (the nipples).. just the nipple bit, not the areola.

Today I woke up feeling off and nauseous :barf: , I nibbled on something when I got to work (only about 2 hours after I ate breakfast!) and it seemed to kerb it for about 2 hours but now its back again. My stomach is constantly grumbling and feels a bit sore and if I get up and walk around I feel dizzy. I do eat well and regularly normally but not this regularly! (I have already eaten a big bowl of cereal, 1 cruskit with vegemite and 1/4 cup of nuts this morning on top of milk on cereal, hot chocolate and glass of water! my stomach shouldnt be grumbling, its only just gone 10:30!!)

I know i am feeling these things, its not in my head as I notice them even when Im busy and not thinking about conceving etc but is it just a coincidence? Surely you cant show signs straight from conception, before inplantation? Can you?

I have never O'd before so I dont know what my normal 'after O' signs would be...

This TWW is going to drive me crazy!

I really feel confident about this, I dont know why and I try to talk myself out of it because I do know there is still a good chance I am not pregnant but I just cant help the feeling that I am...

(Although I cant help myself and am testing every couple of days starting this Friday and up until the 6th Sept when I have to go in for a preg test at the fertility clinic if I have not got AF..)

Any advice? Can you feel things this early or am I going loopy??!!?? (be honest!)

Hi,

LOL yes the tww can make you go a little 'loopy'!
I know there have been a few times where I have convinced myself that I was pregnant and I was having 'signs' etc but guess who turned up uninvited!! :-(

But time will tell and I hope you get your BFP this time :fingerscrossed:

Nicole - OK I'm being honest here.....pregnancy symptoms usually only occur once implantation takes place (around 8-10dpo). This is when your body starts producing HcG and it is this hormone that results in a number of different symptoms. On the other hand, some women will say the knew from the moment of conception!

I convinced myself on many months early on that I was p/g for sure. I was a very rational person and couldn't believe how 'real' my symptoms seem to be. But as the months went on, I realised that it was mostly me just paying more attention to my body that I did before. Keeping a record of these things has been really good for me - because now I know what's normal for me each month. The funny thing is that the month I got my BFP, I had convinced myself I wasn't p/g because I didn't feel much different (other than being tired).

Hey Nicole

It's so hard, i dont think that i was trying to convince myself last month that i was preg but i got the signs just days after O. I had the sore & swollen Boobs just like u have but unfortunately i got AF.
I am not sure if my body was playing tricks on me or not as that had never happened before.
So :fingerscrossed: for u that it will be a BFP.
All the best.:D

Hi Nicole - first of all I just want to wish you loads of luck and I hope this month is the one for you. I seem to find some kind of pregnancy symptom each month - before reality hits .. he he. Last month my temp stayed up above 37 for 19 days and I swore I had symptoms ..... but the dreaded AF showed up late. I keep telling myself each month that I will not look for signs and just wait until I see that second line - but It never works
Good luck and I hope the tww goes quick for you :)

Hi Nicole, It's Lissylou here. I just wanted to send you a quick PM but it didn't work so here I am to wish you all the luck in the world on your TTC journey and Clomid.

I started my first round of Clomid, this cycle, currently sitting on CD13, just waiting for ovulation. I use OPK's because I don't seem to get any EWCM and I am jack sh.. of the temping, the OPK's work really well for me, Ovulated last cyle on DAY 14, but I think it will be a little later this cycle. I am anywhere from 27 - 35 days in cycle length. I took my clomid from Day 5-9, and because I get no noticable EWCM, we have started shoving the preseed up where the "sun don't shine" as well. Didn't have any symptoms with the Clomid other than a little sweaty, didn't effect my moods, actually DH said I was happier than ever, I think I was feeling pumped that this may help in the quest to conceive out little miracle.

How wonderful that you ovulated without an injection. Good luck to you and your man, I wish you all the best of sucess and best wishes.

Hey Nic, What days did you take your tablets and what day did you ovulate? Whats your average cycle length???

All these questions, if you don't mind answering them for me:confused:

Hi Lissy,

thanks for those kind words.... :hugs:

I dont have a cycle as such, went off the pill (after about 13 years!) about 5 months ago and never ovulated or had a bleed and was diagnosed with PCOS about a month ago.

We are seeing a fertility specialist (Repromed) who treat me like a pin cusion! :D It is good though because they track my hormones every step of the way...
They didnt induce a period because my hormone levels were all low and i didnt really have much lining on my uterus (again due to low hormones... my reproductive system was just asleep!)... so I just started taking the tabs, 5 days of 50mg. They checked my hormone levels every couple of days and last Friday told me I was about to ovulate at some stage over the weekend (and if i didnt by myself i would get a trigger shot). I thought I had as I got ovulation pains, never had them before (obviously because i have never ovulated). I ovulated 7 days after taking the last Clomid tablet.
I got classic EW CM to, first time. I had enough CM i think but we also used PreSeed just to be sure... love the squirty applicators hey! lol takes a bit of romance out of it all though!

I had another BT Monday to check if I had and because I did they want me back this Friday to check levels and the following Monday.. if I have not had AF I am due back on the 6th Sept for a blood test (about 19 dpo). I will be testing myself way before then though, but they will be my final test (incase i get BFN myself beforehand)...

Are you not having any bloods to check your progress on Clomid?
Good luck! Let me know how you go with it all! :fingerscrossed: we both get BFP in the next few weeks!

Nic,
I went back and read some of your old posts so I am up to speed now. Yep, I'm heading off to the doctor on Thursday for a scan etc, everything inside me seems to be working fine, the clomid is mainly to produce a few more targets for DH to aim at. (Without blaming anybody- if you know what I mean).
I certainly seem to ovulate without any problems, fortunately... it's just timing the slow guys in order that they reach several dart boards at the right time.

Certainly can relate to your noticing of every symptoms. A few cycles ago I was sitting on DAY 36, I have never gone over DAY 35 ever in my AF days, my temp was still high and so was my cervix. I cooked a romantic dinner for DH and ME, he bought home a Preg Test wrapped with pink and blue ribbons..we were that sure....and before he could pour me a glass of wine(sorry, mineral water) I raced to the loo and the ***** had arrived. Couldn't believe it. I don't want to be negative, so will remain positive with you, bring on the symptoms I say!!!!!!!!!!!!:barf:
