All I do all day is :barf: and nothing helps. I have constant headaches and I'm finding it hard to function. I was hoping it would get better in the 2nd trimester, but here I am at almost 14 weeks and it's getting worse. What can I do?

When you find out let me know... I'm not vomiting thankfully but every day as soon as it hits about 4 o clock I'm on the floor in the bathroom feeling very very :barf: so much worse than my first trimester. I've cut out a lot of sugar from my diet which has helped, but not helped enough. Are you getting enough water? Hope you feel better soon. :hugs:

I feel your pain - mine got worse at 13 weeks and I started throwing up. A few people told me that it can go on until 16 weeks which I didn't think I could handle, but it did and right on the 16 week mark all of my MS stopped! Now as long as I eat first thing in the morning, I am fine for the rest of the day. Hopefully something like this happens to you too!

Hi, Im still only 10 weeks and with my first pregnancy MS only lasted till 13 weeks but I just couldnt bear the thought of it lasting another 3 weeks so, I went on the hunt for any remedy!!
I have tried Acupuncture which apparantly works better the more the often you go, i have only gone once and am going back tomorrow so :fingerscrossed:

I am also taking Zofran which takes a BIG edge off the :barf: feeling. Maxolon is another one your Dr prescribes but it has side affects and made me feel 20 times worse.

The acupuncturist also gave a me a Bach flower remedy which i can take whenever I like when i feel sick and it actually does work.
I also tried the acupressure bands but they only worked at the start and are now totally useless.
My MS had got worse but I now have all these remedies and do feel somewhat better, am able to cope with the day and adequately look after DS anyway.
I really hope it gets better for you, its so horrible :(

I had m/s until 24 weeks with the surrogacy I did last year....it was horrid....

I found I couldn't have anything dairy related at all! which was hard as I too was suffering reflux...

I protein and carbohydrate rich food, mashed potato, plain bread rolls....I can't even begin to tell you how many bread rolls I ate, it just seemed to dull it a bit...

Sorry i couldn't help out more!

I had very very bad ms with my first till 2o Wks or so. This pregnancy I was ok till about week 10 (a bit neauseas but nothing too bad) and now vomit at least once a day- i am now week 15 and just starting to feel a bit better. I am nothing like my first pregnancy where I was hospitalized several times. It's strange I can not tolerate dairy, seeds, nuts , fruit it all comes back up but unhealthy stuff like ice-cream, white bread etc all stays down fine.
