i am currently 23 weeks pregnant with my 6th child. all my children were born naturally with no problems at all apart from my youngest daughter who is now 1 she was born via emergency c-section due to a low lying placenta. This pregnancy is going well and the docs have recomennded i try and deliver naturally But due to me c section being within 2 years of this birth the risks of the inner scar rupturing are alot higher, which apparently can cause anything from a still born baby to death for bothe mother and baby. all my pregnancys have been so close together so im worried about how my body is going to cope anyway, is there any success stories out there or even any advice on weather a vbac would be the best choice for me???

Your risk of uterine rupture after 1 prior c-sec and with it only being 2yrs old - 0.7%, 1% at the very most. Dont let the 'death talk' freak you out because it really is not warranted!!
I understand that there is some risk, and the outcome of that risk may not be very pretty, but you have a 99% chance of success.
I have spent the last 3yrs researching that VBA3C would be in the best interest of me and my bubba. So, after 3 prior c-secs, my chances of uterine rupture are no more greater than a mother who has had 1 prior c-sec!! If I can do it, the you can definately do it
And there are lots of mummas on here who have had successful VBA1+2C's, just search in the Birth Stories section.
Also another great site for information and support is Birthrites - google them. The ladies on the VBAC forum are a wealth of knowledge.
